Toddler Takeover Starts Back on Sept. 4th!

Each Wednesday, BCM staff and volunteers will engage young children ages 0-5 through stories, crafts, science experiments, music, and movement.  We believe in learning through playing and strive to improve gross and fine motor skills along with other educational aspects such as the alphabet, number recognition, shapes, and colors.

Fall Homeschool Workshops begin on September 4th! 
The BCM homeschool classes, Life Science I, will begin on September 4th for class A and Class B will begin on September 11th!

Our homeschool program is available for families looking to supplement their science, technology, engineering art and math curriculum. Our workshops are tailored for a few age ranges and we hope to grow this in the future. These workshops include many hands on experiments, activities, social interactions for your young students and a fun way to help bring to life what they are working on at home with you.  We hope you can join us for some S.T.E.A.M. based lessons to help foster your kiddo's curiosity and discovery in support of what you are learning at home.

Beaumont Children’s Museum is a wonderful place for birthday parties, sports teams, end of the year celebrations and much more.

Women in STEM at BCM for Extended Hours
September 19th for Extended Hours, we are partnering with the Beaumont Area Society of Women Engineers to highlight the work of Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) industries. This event is open for all to come explore the love and interest of strong women here in Southeast Texas. These ladies will showcase the many fun concepts behind their jobs of chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical, process engineering.... the list goes on. Please join us for some museum adventures as we explore STEM in SETX with some leading ladies!

BIGGER IS BETTER at this year's Touch-A-Truck!!

The Beaumont Children’s Museum is hosting our 9^th annual “Touch-a-Truck” on Saturday, October 19th from 10am-4pm in the North Parking Lot and inside the Beaumont Civic Center.  This year’s event will provide a unique opportunity for children to explore vehicles of all types – public service, emergency, utility, construction, landscaping, transportation, delivery, and off-road – all in one place! Our goal for 2019 is to go BIG and fundraise an additional $40,000 to give back to the museum exhibits and it’s programs! We need your help with this BIG Touch-a-Truck goal. Not only is our goal to bring in BIG dollars but to bring in BIG Trucks. Why, because “BIGGER IS BETTER!”

ADMISSION: includes entrance to the museum, Civic Center, and our Truck filled parking lot!
